In Memoriam
Honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States. Their sacrifice is the foundation of every benefit this site describes.
Gold Star Families
Gold Star families — those who lost a loved one in active military service — are entitled to a specific set of federal and state survivor benefits. These include DIC (Dependency and Indemnity Compensation), the Fry Scholarship, DEA (Chapter 35), CHAMPVA, and Survivors Pension, among others.
Many states also provide property tax exemptions, education tuition waivers, and additional financial support for surviving spouses and dependent children.
