Our Commitment
Veterans.pro is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe every veteran — including those with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities — deserves full access to their earned benefits.
We continuously improve the user experience for all users and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines help ensure web content is accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
What We’ve Done
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- All images have descriptive alt text
- Color contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for normal text)
- Keyboard navigation supported throughout the Platform
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
- Forms include clear labels and error messages
- Content is readable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling
- ARIA labels on icon-only controls
Known Limitations
We are actively working to address the following:
- Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible — screen-reader-friendly versions are available on request
- Live chat widget accessibility improvements are in progress
